Vacation: Day 5-
We had a day just for Joe today…we ‘went fishin’! I sat in the boat and read my magazines and looked in adoration at this man who looked like a pleased 8 year old holding up his catch- a gigundo wide-mouthed bass. You have to appreciate what lights someone’s fire. For me, it really is my children, Joe, my friends and my workouts. But being patient to share in his passions makes me happy.
When we returned, I rode the bike in the exercise room and walked about 2.5 miles down to the grocery to buy fruit, salad, and yogurt (our room has a mini-fridge). I feel good that we took salads on the boat this morning instead of stopping for snacks and sandwiches at a gas mart. I have begun to scale back the food extravaganza. I feel much better physically, and for the millionth time, it re-enforces what a powerful, positive impact clean eating does for me.
Wednesday 3/24 Workout-
recumbent bike-30 minutes
Strength train- back/triceps
back row
triceps kickback- 8 lb
triceps dips on bench
lying triceps extension- 15 lb barbell
Walk on the street- 55 minutes, about 3.25 miles
Wednesday 3/24 Food Diary:out of town
Breakfast-
Breakfast bar at hotel
Granola mixed with Cheerios
berries, banana, yogurt
Lunch-
Salad with goat cheese
apple
P.M. Snack-
ice cream sundae
Dinner-
haddock, no sauce, just lemon
zucchini
broccoli
carrots
